I am sorry to be a nuiscine, but i recently purchased and N1, and i was wondering what the best way to get a really good grand piano sound on it. I heard it on the Demo, but couldn't find it. So if someone knows how i can get to it, please tell me.

Push the Bank key, then the User4 key, then then the slider and + or - keys until you come to 01: St. Piano. It will sound even better if you tweak it a bit, but that's another subject.

There are a number of pianos on the N1. Most of them are on numbers 01 and 51 on the banks. A good basic piano is on PrgA 01. A stereo piano is on CmbC 01. Also try PrgC 01 and GM-b 01.

I believe the N1's signature Piano sound is ProgA-01 (press these keys: BANK, 5, 0, 1)

I could be wrong!! (If I am someone tell me please) :-D

Prog A 01 is the "N Piano," which is the same one as on the N5 - what you want for the "signature" N1 piano sound is the stereo piano on PrgU 01. One of my favorite piano sounds for playing ragtime is PrgA 31: Rock Piano, which I have used to create a stereo patch.
