Hi all.
Do you remember this software? (I think I got the right name).. this software (by Yamaha) enhances the sounds of a midi file.. (Sorry, my English sucks!).
Does anyone know where could I get it from?
I used to download it from a Yamaha site, but in the last couple of years it is not exist anymore.

There is something a little bit different, called WinGroove http://www.wg7.com/en/ but it causes some bugs on my computer...

Do you know on other softwares that do this?

Thanks, and again sorry for my poor English,
Guy.

Hi
The S YXG50 was a software version of the Yamaha XG sound cards that also added extra banks of sounds above GM sounds.
Try the link below, which should give you access to Version 4.
Hope this Helps.

I read awhile back that Yamaha abandoned it.

Bomba6,
the soft synth you mention is VERY old. there is also the SY XG 100 which has better quality but it is also discontinued.

This software only works with 95-98-98se. I had problems on ME, 2000 and XP when I tried it.....

SY-XG 50 Works fine on both of my XP computers. SY-XG 100 does not work on XP and there has been no update.

The only other solution I can think of is to find an XG1000 soundcard. I don't know if Yamaha still sells these.
