I purchased a Ketron SD5 from George Kaye.

I recorded two songs to demonstrate how the styles sound and also to show the riff feature. The first song uses the organ_club style. I used the jazz organ and rodes piano. After the rodes solo, there are twelve bars of a riff progression. I just hit the riff button while holding a C chord and the riff feature generated a blues progression in the key of C. The second song is spanish eyes and uses the beguine style.

I am not a professional musician and recorded the songs quickly with no editing or mixing. I am posting them so you can hear the keyboard, not my mediocre playing.

Ooops! I stand corrected. I thought it was a Korg you played.

The Ketron organs are great too

The first piece is fantastic. It sounds like a real band.

Very realistic accordion.

It is a terrific piece of hardware.

Regards and Happy new year

Hi Jim

Very impressive sounds. I does have a live band feel. That blues was nice.

Spanish Eyes used a typical live band background. I would have liked to have heard a change in the bass part though as it got a little old. Maybe another variation with a slight bass change would have done it.

But, all in all, pretty darn good.

Best

Jim:

Love the blues thing, Spanish sounds good too. Very nice organs for sure. Live band sound and the riff feature are very nice.

Good luck with it.
