Thanks to Gary Diamond for posting the pictures of the modified brackets for the Tyros muic stand. Slots were done on a bandsaw, but can be done with a hacksaw. Good Luck, Bob L.You will find the pic at the How to post pictures subject.

Not sure what you are trying to achieve with the home made brackets but you can buy proper Yamaha adaptors so that your Music rack and/or your Tyros speaker brackets can just slide on and off

I got mine from a German site for a few Euros - They'll post internationally to you for a few more euros.

This makes transporting the Tyros easy as I no longer have the brackets protruding from the keyboard and just slide on the music rack brackets etc into the close fitting adaptors fitted instead

The brackets are the ones that came with the Tyros. All i did was slot the brackets. It took me five minutes to finish, and they have been working just fine. I guess it's a matter of choice. I didn't have to buy anything else to start using my Tyros. Also i was aske to show how i modified the brackets, thus the pictures. Bob L.

I see, so you just slide the whold thing over the scews that you leave stick out a little bit?

I kept thinking you had sawed 2 seperate slots on each piece. This makes more sense to me.

Thanx for going to all the trouble to post these pics.

Best
Scott
