Hello All
Thought it would be a good idea to set up a separate post for keyboard demos rather then having them spread all over the place.
You cannot post them directly on the site, but you can just insert the links to the fileserver where they are stored, 2 free ones are
http://rapidshare.de/ and
http://yousendit.com/ I would recommend a minimum of 192 bit rate, as any less will not show off modern arrangers to there full potential. (Too much compression)
Another recommendation is set the instrument up so that it sounds good on a quality set of headphones, as these will give quite a neutral sound. (If you set it up with speakers, unless the listener has the same set of speakers and set up, it will not sound correct)
The files can be of your own playing or if you are not an advanced player a Midi file will do. (Remember it is the keyboard you’re demonstrating, not your playing)
For those who think Midi files are cheating, please remember that an average player on a high end arranger will sound good, but a professional player on a lesser instrument will sound better, consequently you will be listening to the player, not the keyboard.
A description on the instrument and version used would also be beneficial to the listener.
When making comments be constructive, don’t just say it sounds crap or it sounds great, say why you think this i.e. I found the sound very muffled with the feeling of a real instrument missing, or the brass sound just didn’t seem to have the bite that you get from Brass instruments.
Another suggestion is say what you are comparing it to, another keyboard or the real instrument, which you are familiar with, or have heard recently.
Anyway here is my contribution, (Posted on another thread but no comments appeared to be forthcoming)

I have uploaded some demos on Wersi OAS 6 software, which was released on to the market early 2004, all the sounds are pure Wersi OAS 6 without any editing, or adjustment of EQ settings, and no third party samples or instruments, so the sound is exactly the same as if you had just got the instrument straight out the box.
OAS 6 mainly added new features, the sound engine and quality is virtually the same as OAS 5, which was released in early 2003.
I will post them again when I have OAS 7, so that you can here the difference in sound quality.
The files are Midi files that were pre installed on the instrument; however they were all done by musicians.
I recommend listening in stereo, as most keyboards use electronic processing, which can sometimes confuse Home Theatre Mode. (Feel free to experiment)
As I mentioned in a previous post feel free to comment. (Good or Bad)
Hope you enjoy.
