Hi X-1 users,

I don't take my X-1 out frequently but I guess I should stop pressing my luck. I'm looking for suggestions on a hard case for my X-1. Any information on brand, approximate price and where to purchase are greatly appreciated!

Hello Bob,
There is an X1 case available by Ketron . I believe it sells for around $150.00 or less.
I have been using a Protec C950 case . This is a soft case , but lot's of padding and good for in car transport . This bag is around $69.99 . I have not found any generic cases from SKB that fit the X1 . To special order a custom case the cost will be in the $300 to 400.00 range . i use ketron one it is ok black on the outsdide and green lined inside £100 approx in Ireland. It is of chipboard (thin) covered in nice black stuff!! I think it is good enough and it has served me well and withstood abuse in back of van for two years.

The Pro Pac case we talked about today from Pro Tec is a hard foam with plywood inside that is good enough to put on an airplane and sells new for approx $125.00. The used one I had is packed and ready to go to you! I hope you enjoy it!
