Thanks for this comparison too.....I have to say I thought no comparison to the Tyros.

I found the Tyros much brighter and livlier with quite a bit more presence.

I'd put the 2K down in 3rd place and the expansion now moves to 4th for me.

I thought the 2000 grand piano compared very favorably! Quite bright and solid tone, but lacking the finesse and character of the others.

DITTO! . . . especially considering the PSR2000's incredibly lower price ! I believe my BEST 'bank for the buck' statement re: the PSR2000 still holds true.

The PSR2000 did hold up well in the piano match-up. In my opinion the PSR2000 had some ringing overtones in the upper midrange sustain that I found a tad bit objectionable, but overall the piano sound wasn't bad (I've heard bad - this wasn't it). I hope we get to hear other arrangers in the same price category as the PSR2000 try this.
