What can i say.wow. Now i know why u guys love your pa1x so much. Excellent keyfeel and build quality. Everything felt solid. The out of the box sounds are stunning. I loue the pianos brass trumpet guitars and sax. Didnt get a chance to try everything cos i had an hour. The styles are good with a live band feel. Fill ins need improvement. But overall its awesome .

Just want to add that i think overall the pa1x has a edge over the tyros for sound quality and for styles yamaha has a slight edge due to better intros and fill ins.for myself i will have to choose bet t2 and pa1x. I must say that its awesome that the pa1x sounds so amazing without tweaking the sounds. Mx tyros required tweaking and then it was great. do u pa1x owners agree that it does not require tweaking.. Hmm i forgot to try the tc helicon but im sure its the best

Lol i didnt buy it..only tried it at the store.. They want $3000 for the pa1x and $3500 for the pro.i am very tempted but will try the tyros 2 and then choose. Only problem is its coming to my country some time next year..lol it is frustrating to wait. There should be plenty of demos on the net. I still get over how good it sounds. Go try one!

Nice to know that the PAX has good keys. The PA50 sure didn't, along with the poor fills (why doesn't Korg address this), which led me to dump the PA50. Also, there were absolutely NO guitars evident in any styles - disappointing.

The brochure i got from the store describes the 61 key as synth action keys and the pro as semi weighted.

keep spreading the word Rolandfan. I've said it before the PA1X has been the best kept secret in the arranger market. If Korg were to actively market the product it would be a bestg seller

Let me tell you something guys... I have ordered both keyboards PA1X Pro and Tyros2.
PA1X Pro came in few days ago and I am blown away by this "silver beast". I don't know how the Yamaha will sound to me, I'm sure it will be spectacular, but I would never part with my Korg. I think that the PA1X family is the best kept secret like you said in an arranger world.
If I had to choose as of today to keep only one keyboard... it would be PA1X Pro without a doubt. (can't comment on Tyros2 - haven't played it yet)

cheers,

ccdmax
