Hello everyone,
I recently purchased a Yamaha PSR2000 and I really like it. I bought it around 3 months ago but have had little opportunity to play it until recently. A couple days ago the start/stop button for style/accompaniment stopped working as did the multipads. Other lights still come on and keys on the right side split point play fine. It happened while I was changing some settings. Does anyone have ideas as to what may have happened? Does Yamaha have a hotline I can call? I called the dealer/music store and got no help except the number of a repair technician. The person I spoke with at the music store seemed to think the keyboard was dirty and needed cleaning. Hope to hear from some of you.....

Hi Deanna,
The first thing I would try would be to unplug the keyboard for about half-an-hour, and then plug it back in, then hold the highest C note (the last white key) and then press the power button that should do a full factory re-set.

It worked!! (The full factory reset) Thank you so much!!! I had a feeling it was something I had done. I really appreciate your taking the time to help me out.

I`m glad I was able to help, best of luck with your new KB. There are some very.... minor problems with the 2000 but alot of people are at the "Zone" have the PSR2000 and are very happy with it. So if you have any more questions about the "Y2K" leave a post like you did and I`m sure you`ll get some help .~~!
