All done on the Tyros 2. Believe it or not, this is all using USER styles, and the whole thing was recorded in one sweep! (Although it sounds like it, there are no multipads used - its all in the styles).

Very good! Thanks for the demo.
Be warned, it's 12 minutes long!

Go Chony! Big band pop meets Jewish Klezmer. Energetic music with terrific melodies to get & keep the crowd dancing, but I personally recommend slowing the tempo down (a bit) though, to allow the listener to better take in & appreciate the melody, as well as save some on the dance floor from becoming too physically drained to dance thru till the end of the medley. . . . puff . . . puff.

I paraticularly enjoyed your live play excecution of the S.A Trumpets, horns, and guitar. Live and exciting. puff . . . puff
Gotta go sit down and rest now.

Scott

I'm an Orthodox Jewish musician so I recognize all of the songs. That was truly spectacular. And I'm not easily impressed. Are you active as a musician?

I must ask -- how long did that recording take you (including creating the styles, which seem to have been created for each specific song)?

Thanks Marc,

Yes I am an active musician - I perform mainly in NY, but I've done events all over the US and in Canada and South America.

I'm already quite good at putting together user styles, so it doesn't take nearly as long as it used to. I'd put about 2 hrs on each song, except for 'hiney' which took an hr.

Thanks for you comments!

Hi friends,

great recording. Bye the way. The title of the song is Dschingis Khan and the composer's name is Ralph Siegel from Munich. He wrote the song for four singers and dancers who also called themselves Dschingis Khan. The song was composer for the European Song competition somewhere in the 1980's. If I remember it became fourth in that competition.
But the original did not sound as half as good. Respect!

Markus

A happy new year to all of you!!!!

Yep Marcus, you're right,

It is Genghis Kahn, and it was performed in 1979. I have the music video as well!

Chony,
Great song! I have to say that your songs are the most polished instrumentals I've heard here on the Zone to date. Great work at creating the styles. You've truly mastered that. Curious, what sequencing program did you use for this composition. If you used the Tyros sequencer alone on this I'm (TEN) times more impressed! Great job on the drum track as well.

Well thank you squeak, then I'm proud to say you have reason to be impressed!

It was all created on the Tyros - and its not a sequenced song - its all User Styles.

Thanks for the compliments!
