Chico, in our business, we don't have a website, a sales force or even a bold listing in the white pages. That's pretty strange for a business that does graphics, websites and photography, but it works for us. Most of our commercial photography, especially product photography, is done with a 4"x5" with a digital back. That's to correct the paralax you get with fixed plane cameras when you're not shooting "straight on". We find we can't straighten out all the distortion/converging lines any other way. PhotoShop correction isn't quite there when you're shooting a parralel shaped object from more than a slight angle.
We still use film in the field sometimes, due to the tremendous memory required, which is not a problem when docked to a PC, but is sometimes more than a laptop can handle with multiple images. It's expensive...for a two frame holder, the film (E-6) is $5.00 and processing is $3.00 a sheet. Then, you have to do the scans. Covers require the equivalent of 20 plus megs.

I think I may have the same 35mm Kiev you have. I also have the Hassy ripoff Kiev system with polaroid backs, film cartridges, etc.

Music (especially bossas) and photography...looks like we have a lot of common interests.
