HI Chico:

Very nice web site. That's quite a collection of keyboards you have. In looking at your 9000pro brings a return to that age old discussion, why can't Yamaha make a 3000 pro, maybe the next generation of the 3000 should be a pro with more keys!!

Hi Stephenm52

I liked a lot my 9000Pro except the excessive weight
I hope that the new Tyros 2 has the same keybed.
I will post other pics of my kbds soon.

Chico, great old cameras. We're in the busines of doing commercial photography, and I have been collecting old cameras for years. We have old wooden view camras, old Brownies, Kodak Retinas, Agfas, some Russian Kiev's, several Crown Graphics and many more.

It's FUN!

Re: Home page upgrade - 10/31/05 08:14 AM

Hi Russ

I split my heart between music and photography.
Today I'm taking pics with digital cameras but my love for the film cameras (120 or 35mm) is still live.My hobby is take pics with my small ucranian Kiev 35A that gives me very interesting results.
I own a very rare camera(Gugo)that I bought as a scrap iron and now seems brandnew.
All cameras are 100% operational, of course.
If you have a HP about this theme, pls give me.

Cheers from Brasil

Re: Home page upgrade - 10/31/05 10:47 AM

Chico, in our business, we don't have a website, a sales force or even a bold listing in the white pages. That's pretty strange for a business that does graphics, websites and photography, but it works for us. Most of our commercial photography, especially product photography, is done with a 4"x5" with a digital back. That's to correct the paralax you get with fixed plane cameras when you're not shooting "straight on". We find we can't straighten out all the distortion/converging lines any other way. PhotoShop correction isn't quite there when you're shooting a parralel shaped object from more than a slight angle.

We still use film in the field sometimes, due to the tremendous memory required, which is not a problem when docked to a PC, but is sometimes more than a laptop can handle with multiple images. It's expensive...for a two frame holder, the film (E-6) is $5.00 and processing is $3.00 a sheet. Then, you have to do the scans. Covers require the equivalent of 20 plus megs.

I think I may have the same 35mm Kiev you have. I also have the Hassy ripoff Kiev system with polaroid backs, film cartridges, etc.

Music (especially bossas) and photography...looks like we have a lot of common interests.

Chico.
