Could any psr3000 user tell me how many user styles can be saved in the user bank? My psr2100 can hold about 60 styles. Can anyone give an idea?

For what I know about the PSR 3000, it has double the memory of the 2100, but really depends on the styles size, remember, this styles are a little bigger, 3 intros and 3 endings versus one of each in the 2100,2000, etc....also, that the memory is share by the user song files, registration, multipads and MDB......so.....is up to the size of All the above. Now, with a thumb drive ( I have 2, one 128 and 1 gig, with this one, you have plenty)and the Smart media cards, I do not even think about runnin out, the files load literally instantly.

While the PSR3000 can hold a number of styles in USER memory, that is no longer an issue of concern. It can also hold styles in the SmartMedia card and on attached USB Flash drives. Styles can be loaded from these devices just as fast as from User memory and can also be referred to in the registrations. I have a 128MB SmartMedia Card and a 512MB flash dive. The flash drive along can hold over 5,000 styles and still have plenty of room. I don't even pay attention to USER memory any more.

The PSR3000 has 1.5mb of USER memory, same as the PSR2100. As Joe said, you can save the styles on SmartMedia or USB. Unlike the PSR2100 whose registrations could not call up a style stored on a floppy disk, PSR3000 registrations will call up styles stored in SmartMedia and USB memory.

The call up time of USB and SmartMedia styles is instantaneous.

Nevertheless, the Music Finder Database will only call up presets and user styles on both keyboards.

But don't forget to build new folders. Otherwise you will get some troubles.
