I just bought a Korg M 1.
But the factory presets are gone because they were not saved before changing the intern battery...
Is there anybody who want to help me to get the factorypresets again and how to load them into the M 1?

I have a PC with XP Home and the Creative Audigy 2.

Thanks!

Hi Toonwiel--

You can download the presets here: http://www.korg.co.uk/korg2003/support/support_set.htm
Click on "downloads", then "M1 Music Workstation". In addition to the presets, you can get a copy of the manual in PDF form there as well.

If you haven't already done it, you'll need to connect your M1 to your sound card via MIDI. Make sure that all Memory Protect is turned OFF on the M1, and that System Exclusive (EXCL) is enabled. Then all you have to do is send the downloaded file(s) (naturally, first unZIP) from your PC to the M1.

I hope that helps.
