I currently have an MS2000b. To be honest, I haven't really played with it that much, since I'm relative newcomer to synthesis.
I like what I can do with the synth, particularly some of the pads and the vocoder effects. However, I don't really make 'dance' music and find many of the presets useless. My synthesis skills are not really up to creating complex sounds myself - I tend to use the synth as a handy 'electronic/analog' sound in my own music.
I am moving to America soon, and conisdering selling the MS2000 and buying a Microkorg. A big incentive for this is SIZE. The MicroKorg is much smaller, and therefore easier for me to travel with [and I travel quite a bit].
From what I've read, it seems that the MicroKorg is basically the same synth without as much front panel functionality.
I would appreciate any opinions or advice on what the MicroKorg can't do, compared to the MS2000b...?
