A friend is bringing round his Roland G70 for me to try and while it's with me he's asked if I can upgrade the instrument to 01.06 Version. I've been to Rolands web sites, but can't find the OS to download or any instructions on how to install it.

Does anyone know where the latest version can be downloaded, and if there's any instructions on a web site about the installation procedure.

I've downloaded the above file, reading through the "Readme files" this apperas to be the system driver ver 1.0.0 for Windows
not an Operating System for the actual G70?

Peter, I don't know what you got but I ended up with a 10MB OS upgrade file which includes upgrades to all the G-70 styles. Getting there is a little convoluted with the Roland system, you have to keep loading browser pages till it eventually gets you to the download.
Regretably I do not have a G-70 so I have been unable to activate it. But in a couple of years saving .......!!

You can download latest version, factory data and some other useful stuff from http://www.selskabsmusikeren.dk/index.php?option=com_docman&Itemid=32 after registration.

You can go to www.rolandus.com and go to products, intelligent arrangers, G70 and then you can find directions and the actual download.

Go to UPDATES & DRIVERS (bottom of page) Select Mac or PC versions of OS 1.10 and USB Driver.
