The SD1 has some styles that are (nearly?) identical to X1 (althought in a new format), and there are some new ones. Ketron sells several disks with addicional loadable styles for the X1; I would be interested in those that correspond to the new styles in the SD1 (if any). Does anybody know which are these disks that contain conversions from the *NEW* SD1 styles (maybe AJ can help here?...) ?

Matias,
Unfortunately, I do not know exactly which styles developed for the SD1 are now currently available for the X-series lib. however, these should be included within the new Styles & Sounds catalog on the website. Because of the Xtra drum loops and sounds on the SD1, some of the SD1/XD-series styles will not be available for the X-series ... but the website would be a good place to start. I have been so involved with the development & production of the XD-series that I have lost touch with what we have exactly for the NEW styles lib.
Ops ...

Just in case someone did not know it yet, I could see that
EMC have updated the Works series to convert from SD1 into
other keyboards now.
Look at the new demoversions at http://www.emc-musicsoftware.de/
Kind regards

AJ:
Thanks a lot for your prompt answer. I already checked the Ketron web site, but it doesn't really answer to my question. From the whole bunch of choices, nowhere is indicated which are the styles coming from the SD1. And yes, I understand the limitations of the "conversion" due to the SD1 extra drum loops. I'll probably contact Ketron directly.

Gunnar Jonny:
Thanks for remembering the new version of EMC software, which supports SD1 style format. Apart from being expensive, I am disappointed with their support, so I probably won't buy from them the new version.
