Haven't tried it, but maybe you can set the e.q.s in the song, then save the songa s a new midi file.

I found a sure way of making the PSR2100 sound great when playing SMF's....First power up the PSR2100, then using a midi cable connect one end into the midi out jack, then the other end of the cable into the midi in jack of a G1000....Great drums , realistic instruments and no overdone vibrato...try it you'll like it.

Hi Fran.

Just a tip.
We do not have enough G1000 to make this operation...Yamaha produces more 2100 by month than the entire G1000 production.
Go to the botton of kbds and see the serial numbers...

Chico if the total number in the serial number means anything, you may be right..My G1000 numerals read 91xxx. My PSR2100 numerically reads 606xxx...I find it hard to believe Yamaha has sold over 606000 units..I also find it hard to think that Roland sold over 91000[in 98 when I bought mine}..

If I can recall Yamahas best selling keyboard was the DX7[over 300000] Roland was the D50[250000] Korg M1 is the overal leader[over 350000]...Of the 3, I preferred the DX7..BTW Siel was the DK600[less than 4000}

OK Fran.
Then, another point of view.
Today here in Belo Horizonte (3.300.000 people) I don't see more than 10 G1000 in operation, but I know that the most important local Yamaha dealer sold 12 Psr 2100 and 3 Tyros in this week.
I am not an Yamaha endorser, and owned Roland since E20 until Va7 but for me Roland, as arranger manufacturer stoped in time,since 2000 when the G1000 was discotinued.I cannot see a good future here, because a lot of traditional Roland owners(as me) migrated to others options.
Go back is always hard.
Another reason for the Roland falling is here:
Just some prices in Belo Horizonte:
Roland FD drive: US$100,00
Yamaha FD drive: US$17,00
VA7 owner manual: US$30,00
Yamaha owner manual: Free download (anyone)
