I just got an X5 and started writing some custom patches/combi's when I accidentally overwrote patch "A16" - FingerBass.
Would someone please post the original setting for that patch, please?

If you go to the global settings and move to section 05A Preset Data. It allows you to loadthe original presets. This will alter every setting that you might have changed, so if you have changed other settings, you might want to save those or remember them.

I am having some problems getting anything but the general midi programs to play off of my computor with the X5. I have windows 98 and am using cakewalk 9.0. If you could help out, that would be great.

You don't have to load an entire bank just to reload one program on the x5d (I think it operates identically to the x5). You can goto global mode, page to the preset load screen, and write any single preset program to any number location.
Loading an entire bank initializes the x5, and resets global and multi settings to the defaults. You may not want to do that just to get one single patch restored.

in regards to getting Cakewalk to play other banks, you need to assign them different numbers. Bank A=1, Bank GM=7169 to 7424, Bank GM DRUMS=7937 to 8064.
