problem still occurs ,,tried resetting factory setup,but whichever style i select the tempo stays the same for every preset i press.anything else i can try?,mike

Are you playing one style while you are changing the presets? In this case, the tempo will stay the same. If you are not performing any style, and the tempo remains the same as you choose different presets, then you have a broken keyboard. If reinitializing doesn't work, get it repaired.

Hi Mike,

Beakybird's right! If the style tempo remains locked after you've stopped the previous style from playing, then you definitely have a problem that needs to be fixed.

If you want to change to the style's preset tempo while the auto accomp is playing, just press the 2 tempo (+-) buttons concurrently.

I like this setup because I occasionally perform a song which may involve switching between different styles (grooves) yet want to maintain the same tempo.

Maybe this is WAY too simple...but have you checked to make sure your FREEZE button is turned off?

thanks guys, this worked ,pressing both tempo buttons together,,where would we be without this help,thanks again,,,mike,,ps. yes scott i,m still practising maybe in a year i should be pretty good ,ha ha ,
