I am trying to copy a bunch midi files to the HD from floppys, Using the Disk utility, I can copy them using the "Single", "multiple" or "all" option.
The "multiple" option only works if the files to be copied are "consecutive". When I need to copy files that are "spread" throughout the floppy I have no way of "selecting" them in "one Step" and copy them at once.
Is this "normal"?
or was this another "out to lunch" occurance on the part of those "brains" at Yamaha.
Why didn't they give us the option to "mark" the files "randomly"?
auhgrr!! @#$%^!&
and the "saga" continues.

Copy all the midis you want to put in your 9000 from floppy to 1 new file on your desktop. Then paste them into a new floppy and load the whole thing into the 9000. Quick and easy.

Thanks Eddie:
That is an easy solution to my problem, as long as I have a PC on hand.
I still think such a "simple" step should have been incorporated with the 9Ks (Solton /Ketron boards have it)
If I remember correctly the PRO has the same deficiency.
thanks for your prompt reply,
Mario
