Team,

I thought I'd gather ideas from users like you with regards to the quality, features (some of which only you can present and are not listed in any manual) of this keyboard.
At the end of the day, I could generate a comparison table using your information to figure out what it is that most consumers like/dislike about their keyboards. This will also be used to help future buyers and narrow down their search for that 'perfect' board. So what are your points under this subject?

Thanks,

AJ

Ketron.....EM2000. Benefits that I like.
1. When playing a Midi File I can still split the keyboard as in arrange mode.
2. 3rd key split giving 2 splits on Upper.
3. Quality of Midi File playback very good.
4. D-Beam very useful if used sparingly, but can be programmed to do most things.
5. Zip Disk already built in giving very fast style load and a nice alternative to an hard drive.
6. Style arrangements have Dynamic settings that can be set differently for any of the 8 Accompaniments parts.
Depending on your velocity playing this can bring in and out the different ACC's making the style
appear to have more variations.
7. 192 User Registration settings for quick arrangement changes, 2 button presses.

There must be some dislikes but as yet I honestly can not find any. No doubt I will.

Most of the above also goes for the VA7 - 76 and G1000. I recently required a number of questions answered and the email support from Dean Lawrence at Roland UK has been excellent, giving me answers in most cases on the same day.

I am very satisfied of the sound quality of my VA7; the styles are very good, with long intro/endings and loops usually lasting longer than 4 bars; if I don't like a style I can always use a converted/imported one.
I have tried other boards too, but I will keep my VA7 until the next generation of Roland arrangers comes out (hopefully with a hard disk, a lot of buttons and a real sampling ability).
