Wow Scott, when I enquired about the "Joint Stereo"format, I didn't expect your extended explanation but thanks anyway!
All I know is that I would listen to your songs every time, regardless of the technical aspect. For me, I just like to be entertained and you certainly excel at that.
cheers
Eddie

Jzzct & Eddie, and SemiLive (Bill) .Thank you all for such kind words.

Ok folks, in light of the thread that Chas (Cgiles) initiated:
What are you really looking for?
, I only hope that other people here aren't somehow feeling disuaded from posting criticism, as I'm fair game to constructive critique as well, just as long as presented in a postively helpful manner. Thanks again. Scott

HI Up the road neighbor Scott Yee.
I just listened to that new song you put up and it is indeed grand. I can hear you are back up to par.
I had not seen your new website and it is really a class act.
I just played, You don't know me, and we are just blown away with that. What an amazing job.
Thanks for sharing.

Scott .... real nice job ... Personally I think it's one of your finer efforts of late ...
t.

I wanted to add that I think the quality of the recording is really good, and the vocal quality is very good, and of course, Scott your piano playing is excellent ... HOWEVER, I personally wasn't thrilled with the style used for this tune ... It sounds like the 'band' wants to swing' the tune, but vocally you are giving it a more subdued, torchy, feeling, fitting of the message of the lyric ... Perhaps you wanted the 'small combo' effect, but I would have liked something with some strings behind you..
Also, I thought the ending was somewhat abrupt, and could have used some stringss there ... The trumpet is very reminiscent of the "Trumpet Soloist" on the technics kn6000 ...
On the other hand, I thought the arrangement for "You Don't Know Me" was right on....
Just my thoughts ...
t.
