Mirza, you need a SCSI card to plug into one of the slots which are inside your PC; they are pretty cheap. Then you'll need a SCSI cable to connect the PC to your keyboard.

Miki,

what do you have planned to do after connecting your PRO to the computer? There are several options to di a connection:

a) Connect via MIDI (for playing MIDI files from your PC on the PRO for example)
b) Connect via audio line (for recording audio in your PC and converting that to MP3 for example)
c) Connect via USB (you need and optional interface from musitronics/Germany) for making backups from your PRO HD

The only thing which brings you nothing is to connect via SCSI :-(, because both devices (PC and PRO) are SCSI master. The SCSI port on the PRO can only be used for connecting SCSI slaves (like SCSI CR ROM drives or hard disks)

Regards

Ulrich

Yes, in other words - connecting the 9000 Pro to a computer does nothing at all and might make one or the other stop working. That SCSI connection on your keyboard is best used for connecting something like a Zip drive, not a computer.

Hi Mirza,
I use a PHillips Scsi Cdrw that was floating around the studio not being used. I hooked it up to the Scsi port on the 9000 and load from cd's. It is fast enough and works great.
