Starkeeper,
I have seen the PSRA1000 a few years ago and I'm sure the wording was just incorrect. This keyboard is identical to the PSR1000 which came out about 6 years or longer ago. It added quarter tone tuning buttons and in addition to the western styles, it offered styles from many different middle eastern regions. Also, the multi pad section offers many middle eastern percussion loops not found in the PSR1000. The polyphony is 32 note. There are many musicians who program user styles throughout the world. If you visit
www.abdallahsafar.com you will find discussion forums for each of the different manufacturers of middle eastern keyboards. You might have some luck here finding more styles.
Just to add some spice here for Tyros2 oweners, Yamaha is currently working on the ability to use all the PSRA1000's middle eastern sounds and styles in the Tyros2. This will be done by loading the sounds into the sample memory and perhaps via the USB devise port by an optional thumb drive (this I'm not sure of yet) giving you all the styles from the PSRA1000. This would be great news for those musicians requiring a top of the line western and middle eastern keyboard with up to 1 GB of sample memory.
