I agree with all of the above, but as Bob would have said, the show must go on. Gotta gig tonight and I just finished my tribute version of "Thanks For The Memory". That and "I'll Be Seeing You" should cover the bases.
But I'll just be doing ham-and-egg stuff conpared to my friend, Bob Alberti, who lives here on Hilton Head and is an awesome jazz pianist. He was the pianist and arranger for Bob Hope's television show and worked for NBC for 23 years. He has a new biography out and plays every Thursday at the local Jazz Corner. My wife and I already had plans to see him perform this Thursday and I'm sure he'll have some memories to share. BTW/FYI: his website is
