As we are not now putting up new styles in the FILES area or in the Spectromagic ARCHIVE (hopefully this is temporary!), I'd just like to remind people that if they are NOT receiving email with these attached styles, there is an easy way to find all these new styles!

All our messages (emails) ARE archived by YahooGroups. Go to the MESSAGES area at PSR Styles: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/yamaha-psr-styles/messages.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/yamaha-psr-styles/messages:

In the box (upper right) that says "SEARCH ARCHIVE" type the word "ATTACHMENT". You will get a display of all the emails that have had these styles attachments (mostly all from Brian Miles of late). Clicking on the word "PREVIOUS" at the bottom of the displayed list of most recent emails with attachments lets you scroll backward, a page at a time, thru all these many emails that have had attachments (usually STYLES FILES) in our styles group (attachments in the PSR Songs Group have mostly been .mid SONG files).

This method of finding styles will remain as long, as far as I know, as our PSR Styles Group is running. It is a PERMANENT ARCHIVE of the styles sent as Attachments. While certainly less convenient than the SpectroMagic ARCHIVE, it is not costing anyone anything, there is no maintenance to it, and it is permanent. If all else fails in our attempts to get up an Archive site that can handle the download traffic (~2Gb/day), this method, for styles sent as email attachments to the group, is still there, and will remain available for the foreseeable future.

Cheers,

Bob

Bob!
Bebop and I (as well as many people who read this forum and have a psr9000 or 9000pro) are interested in styles that have the ots file included in the style for the psr9000 or 9000pro ... can you point us in the right direction ...since you moderate the yahoo prs styles forum.

Maybe recommend a file or folder name from your board that can help?

Thanks!

rgtaa
p.s. If i can remember right I believe you own a psr9000 or 9000pro ... what files did you find helpful from your archives.
