I didn't say that Donny...read my post carefully.

The T2 is successful with 61 keys and optional speakers...no reason why the T3 should be different.

There will be new features on the T3, but it would be pure speculation at this time as to what they will be.

My guess would be a lot more SA and mega voices and more polyphony...probably 256 like the current CVP-409.

76 keys on the T3...not going to happen...that's not a guess, it's a fact.

Ian

or additionally what I've stated above... adding 16 bar looped styles & an MFD that saves Transpose also would be an improvement

sounds like Korg has really got it right lately. they slipped badly with the pa series which was a modernized but inferior version of their i-series of the late 90's. i still use my is-35, would not move "up" to the pa series because that was a move down, not up. i'm using the roland E60 now too for the 76 keys at 28.6 lbs. i would have liked to go korg paxpro76 but too heavy and the pa800 is a better 61-keyer than my is-35 but only slightly from a basic point of view..the stuff where it far outdoes the i-series is not the kind of stuff i need a lot. I hope Korg comes out with a lighter 76-key model. I'd prefer Korg's way to Yam or Roland.

thanks donny, but i'm just not a module kinda guy. rather wait to see next wave from Korg..meantime the arranger shortcomings of the E60 (see my post in Telmo's recent thread)are making me become a better player, taking advantage of the 76 and excellent keybed, using fewer sounds, using even the bass/drums more sparingly than before. it's nice to be semi-retired and only care about the music, not having to have any concern re providing backgrounds to please a broad spectrum of audiences. less= mo fo sho'
