One of the things that's stopped me from purchasing the Bose PAS is the setup time required. For a small/medium venue one active speaker setup takes ~ 15 seconds.

Those of you familiar with the PAS, WITHOUT EXAGGERATION... what's the time involved with the PAS system (one tower, one sub) setup? Thx.

Glenn

Common Dave, I'm serious. I'm guessing 5 minutes?

I'm sorry - I thought you were kidding. It really only takes SECONDS to set up each piece.
Thursday night, I finished work at 11, and by 11:10 my gear was IN THE CAR!

You unzip the bag ... place the pedestal on the floor - 10 seconds
Next - unzip the bottom tower piece and place in the pedestal - 20 seconds..
Same for the top .....

The ENTIRE unit with sub can be set up in under a minute.
Take another minute to fold the cases into your kb case and you have ONE bag to store.
2-3 minutes to plug in the cables ... and BANG! ZOOM! To the moon !
