Hey,

Does anybody know why www.generalmusic.com doesn't have a decent "news" section? They state that Work is in Progress. Also, the free software section isn't updated yet. I mean, the fact that I don't update my homepage (still http://bounce.to/gemwk4) doesn't mean that GEM wouldn't have to ;-)

Can someone give us some insight in GEM? They released the WK1, but I can't imagine that they had to put in many new functions. I know that they are working on a brand new workstation (no WK series) to be released round 2002. Anyone more details?

greetz To y'all!

Joost,

I understood from George Kay that GEM is working on new brand series to replace WK8/6. It will be featured in the first winter NAMM.

Generalmusic will be presenting a brand new keyboard at the Winter NAMM show in Los Angeles, California at the end of January or the beginning of February 2001.
Chris Anthony, the product specialist for Generalmusic will be sharing information about this new keyboard in the very near future with me.
What I know of it so far is amazing, but I have been asked to withold information about it until Chris gives me the OK.

Chris Anthony,

If GEM requires our assitance in anything (i.e. suggestions, opinions,testing...) just let us know.

Damn! I just bought me a Equinox 88 Pro, and wanted to stick with the Wk4 Powerstation, because the lack of new things GEM brings out... Well, I guess no new GEM workstation for me the next two years.

BTW My WK4 and my Equinox fell in instant love with eachother; playing WK4 styles and a Equinox sound.... I like it :-)

I am curious about the new keyboard! Let the speculations begin

greetings!

Joost
