Today I purchased a 40GB USB Portable drive for my PSR3000. Reg price $149. -$10 instant rebate. -10%($14) coupon that came in the mail, -$50 Xmas gift card from my boss at work, - (2) $20 rebates. Plus I had another coupon from the mail (10%) which I gave to a young man in line behind me. He was purchasing a $300 computer accessory and was very grateful to receive a $30 savings from a stranger.

The drive is about the size of a thin wallet. I created 4 partitions USB1,2,3,4. plugs into the USB port. Works like a charm.

Thanks Jerry. Looks like you ended up with a real bargain.

Cheers,

What could you do with 40GB? Seriously, I'd like to know. How will you use it / put on it to require that amount of storage?

I remember when Bill Gates said "640K would be more memory than anyone would ever need."

I'm just planning for the future.

So many great styles, conversions, registrations, midis, gig disk yada yada yada. Besides I can't resist a great bargain.

You really don't need a computer either, but it sure makes life easier, and a lot more fun.
