I've played the psr1500 and was impressed, I also owned a motif es6, and was waiting to upgrade to the motif xs6 this month, however it's going to be a delay, so I'm just going to forget about the xs6 and concentrate in the ps3000, pa800 and tyros 2. I basically need a good rompler and a few montuno styles: merengue, salsa, bachata, cumbia, etc. I've noticed there is a big difference in price among the models mentioned above.
If I want to compare
psr3000 v.s pa800
and pa800 v.s tyros
strictly speaking in terms of montuno styles and orchestra, piano, guitar instruments, how would they compare each one against competition.
Let's say hypothetically speaking, Why I would have to pay $3500 if I get what I need for $1500.

I would check the PA800 and SD5 out, they are a bit more in price but they definitly need a good listen, especially the Ketron products when it comes to latin type music

I really don't know what to do at this point, In a few months april or may, we'll be have the psr3000 replacement psr-s900 and motif xs6 will be out as well. Do you think at the moment of the psr-s900 announcement, will there be a big drop price for the psr-3000? Do you have some dates about psr-s900 release?

A little of topic but I couldn't help myself.

It just dawned on me that buying a keyboard unseen is a lot like getting a mail order bride. No matter how good the testimonials you have to live with it for a while before you really know what you got yourself into. LOL

I've had to buy my keyboards sight unseen because of my location but have been pretty lucky.

Not so lucky with internet dating but I had some great adventures. I'm well settled in now with a great gal I met at a singles dance. Locally.
