Hi all,

Well it appears, watching from here in the UK, that the decision you all had to make regarding choosing your new President has been almost as difficult as deciding whether to plump for the X1, the PSR9000 or the KN6000.

I am sure that whoever wins they will sing just as sweetly

Best of Luck

Now we just gotta figure out "which" keyboard seems to match up best with "which" candidate (Bush, Gore, or Nader)?

The Yamaha PSR9000-Pro could represent George Bush's big Texas image (heaviest weight arranger keyboard around) as well as biggest "name brand" recognition of the three boards. The Technics KN6000 (Panasonic) packed with "intelligent" features, could represent Gore; and the X1 might represent the Nader Party (exciting styles, yet quirky and unreliable).

The Yamaha styles are lifeless and bland just like Al Gore.

Hey Tony et al.

Are you familiar with the Beyond The Fringe skit about the Englishment who just returned from America and was asked about the American political system. He said "It's very interesting, they have the Republican party, which is the equivalent to our Conservative Party, and then they have the Democratic Party, which is the equivalent of our Conservative Party. Well, both Bore and Gush remind me of Yamaha. Nader can be a Wersi, because he is too cerebral. Pat Buchanan can be a PA-80 because neither is on the map yet.

Hi again,

I am sorely tempted to disclose which of your politicians /outgoing presidents (not to be specific ) appear to this unenlightened englishman as comparable to a good drawbar organ. (Or maybe a har....monica)

However I will not, lest the comparison be seen as smutty and rather pythonesque.

Do not think I am being disparaging...after all we spawned the Glorious Maggie T and are now saddled with Mr Blair...sincerity personified he would have us beleive.

Would that politicians were as sweet to the ear as music.

Tony

Tony,
I would more consider a bontempi in this case.
"our" Win Kok as a church organ in a cold church.

By the way the description of a Casio from Cris was close "Good Ergonomics"

Boy I love this..These are our favorite subjects on family birthday parties...
