For all the people that know me. Do i need a motif for playing at weddings or in european restaurants if i have the va76 and the casio-wk3500 ?

First of all the VA7/76 is MORE then capable to play in any situations as it is.....
Claudio.....its the player that makes a KB sound great, are you ready to perform and command audiences at a wedding which is a unique gig in itself vs others due to the MC duties of the muscian to make it all run smoothly thruout the affair? I would assume your a singer also? eg: Intro bridal party, first dance, garter, throw bouquet, father dance, mother dance, special songs etc etc ? .........
The Motif is a Synth/workstation......you can create sequences, play along with them, with great sounds....but there aren't any styles like an arranger KB leaving you a slave to the sequence vs live style play & at a wedding as you mention I would suggest playing on the fly with Styles so YOUR IN CONTROL of your songs & pepper the rest with SMF/Mp3's...if needed........I would need to hear you play and sing to continue to give you any advice .....good luck!

Dnj, I don't sing And my dad and a saxophonist played at weddings/restaurants and they know all the stuff that has to be done..the order of the songs...and all that crap - + i have a friend who is a professionist keyboard player ( he did some playback for some tv shows ) and we're all set.

So your all ready to go do a wedding .....take your VA76 and do your thing no need for the Motif
