Anyone here know about EMC style converter. Will it do miti-variations or just one from a midifile? Is it hard to learn? Does anyone know the price and where to buy? Is it worth the cost? What do you think?

Hey Boo!,

(didn't mean to scare you, but it's getting close to Halloween you know)... just kidding!

The EMC "style converter" programs automatically create a number of style variations from one midi file) for you to both choose from and edit as well.

I own EMC "StyleWorks Universal" and am very happy with it. It is also quite user friendly. As I said before, the program is rather pricey, but "I think" it's worth it. It will save you lots of time.

I believe that Fran Carango (a member on this Synthzone board) is an authorized US distributor so you might try contacting him.

You can also order directly from Germany: http://www.tastenshop.com/taste/

Happy keyboarding,
