Graham,

I'm feeling jeoulous here in California, as organ-keyboard festival popularity is quickly dying here in the US. The annual one in Pacific Grove (Monterey Peninsula, CA) ended last year after over 40 years. Kind of sad.

Looking forward to hearing your festival report on the performing artists and the music they play, as well as keyboard product news. Hopefully you'll get to see/hear a demo of the new Technics KN7000, GEM Genesys, Solton XD9, and/or Yamaha Tyros, and report back your findings.

Have fun. - Scott

Unfortunately there will not be any of the new keyboards or the manufacturers at Caister just the usual supported dealers but I understand Technote will be present (ANY QUESTIONS)
Although the evening entertainment is quite good sometimes depending on who is playing & your taste but the big plus is the late night jam sessions when the product demonstrators are let loose. If you happen to see Malcolm playing jazz in the bull then you are in for a real treat.
Open day is on Sunday and anybody & everybody are welcome admission is free

Hi Denny,
I did the same thing also! I had 5 repeats!!
I haven't never had that many!
But it was sooooo slow. I got impatient after
about 5 minutes. I deleted mine.

Graham,

I understand from a member of the psr song group that the Caister Organ Festival is coming on 5 to 12 October and will feature the Tyros.
Do you have any news?
Will you be going?
Please let me know of the accommodation possibilities and maybe we can have a get-together from lots more members of the psr songs group as well.
cheers
Eddie Johnson

Eddie. You are correct, the next Keyboard Festival in the UK is 5th - 12th October @ Caister On Sea Norfolk. 7 Nights Half Board is £182 Per Person. Larger Chalet & Caravans £12 PP Extra. Or self catering £335 Per Unit. This Festival is now in its 17th year.
Although the camp is large they limit the bookings to about 1,400 due to the fire regulations of the concert hall. The food is excellent with as much to eat as you wish.
The contact is Sceptre Promotions. Peterborough UK. Phone. 01780 782093

We have been twice a year now for the past 5 years. Free Music Lessons. Product Clinics. Manufactures and Dealers with models of Keyboards & Organs to play with all week. DON'T TELL EVERYBODY, OR WE MAY NOT GET IN NEXT YEAR....HA!!!!!

I had to get moving fast and charm(?) my wife into paying a visit.!
Mission accomplished!
We've booked a fishing holiday just down the coast at Oulton Broad for THAT WEEK!(My wife is a fishing fan)
We shall spend a day at the festival.
