The Samson Q7 is an incredible mic, excellent frequency response, crisp, clear vocals, very high resistance to feedback, and it is very inexpensive. I like it much better than my $299 Sennheiser E-855 and was astonished to find it sold for just $79 on some Internet sites.

Larry, I'm using the Crown CM-311-A which does a great job. The only time I use my Samson Q7 handheld is when I'm in the studio doing a quick recording and too lazy to unpack the crown. Cheers, Gary ------------------ Travlin' Easy
