Hello dear members,
If i connect a volumepedal to the 'VOL'ume-bus
of the XP, it's allways affect the accompaniment volumes to. Therefor i connect the pedal to one of the 'PED'-busses and config it as 'Continuos-controller-Volume'. There are filters to prevent the unwanted volumecontrols.
But this means i can connect one functionpedal less.
You can guess my next question: How to config the XP so that a Volumepedal on the 'VOL'-bus doesn't affect the ACC volumes?
Thanks for any helps,
Regards, Rudi.

Hi Rudi,

The Volume Pedal input is essentially a master volume for the entire instrument and cannot be re-assigned.

I would suggest you get a GEM Multi-Pedal which has 6 footswitches that can be assigned to Style Control functions, Sustain, Rotary Speed Control, etc. The Multi-Pedal only uses one pedal input so you still have two more that can be used for an Expression pedal and maybe another Multi-Pedal if you need to control that many functions with your feet.

Best Regards,

Dave

Thanks Dave,
I am also looking for a Midi-implementation too.
Many knobs on my midikeyboard are freely assignable with controlfunctions and Sysex-commands. But without Midi-implementation i don't know the right commands for the XP.
Specially the controllers to change Soundpresets (Bank and Preset) + Stylepresets.
Can i find such a implementation?
Regards, Rudi.
