Hi all,
It's been awhile since I last posted so have
been catching up on reading past messages
as well. Due to health problems my playing/
practice (I'm a newbie, thanks to all who gave me some great advice here)was put on
hiatus for the last two months.
Now that I'm recovering I'm looking forward
to getting back into the swing of it.
I joined last year in March but when the big server crash happened I had to rejoin.
Just want to say how much I enjoy this forum
& feel its one of the best web communities
around. Take care.
Cheers,
Doug in Texas

Thanks Uncle Dave. My fiance' has helped me get through this tough time. We're getting married in March. Now its time to get my
keyboards dusted off and given a good cleaning, give the amp a good kick and get
the music flowing once again!

Cheers,
Doug in Texas

Welcome back! We wondered why you had been absent for so long. Let's hope your health problems are history and you get on with life and making music.

Welcome back Grandpa Doug! Congratulations & best wishes to both you and Ruthie(?) in your upcoming wedding in March. I think we've come to know 'her' (thru you) almost as much as we've gotten to know you from your many humorous anecdotal postings. Glad to hear you're back in the (Gene Autry)saddle again & on the (Willie Nelson) road (to recovery) again. - Scott

If this in fact is true, my apologies for the confusion. I suppose then that the whereabouts mystery regarding Grandpa Doug remains.

To help get me straighted out about all this, I'm now curious what Captain Doug's prior (original) member name was.

Welcome back aboard Captain,

Scott

Thanks everyone for the kind words and support. Scott,my original ID was just
capt_doug and then when I had to rejoin
I went ahead and changed it slightly.
Indeed its great to be back catching up
on old messages and seeing what the
gang has been up to. Take care.

Cheers,
Doug
