I use three footswitches with my PSR2100. One is midi activated. I got a piece of linoleum and I attached the footswitches to the linoleum with velcro. Then I taped the cables together. So when I set up, I just grab the linoleum out of my keyboard case. Put the linoleum under the stand, and plug in the three cable ends. With rubber pads under the linoleum, nothing slides around. It works for me.

Hi Beakybird

What do you mean by "midi activated"? Is it an MFC-10? What function does the 3rd midi activated pedal control?

It's a midi activated sustain unit. It's a little box in which you plug a standard footswitch and it sends a midi message to sustain just like a regular sustain pedal. Then I use the other footswitches for other things.

Thanks for the info. I use my 2 footswitch inputs for something else, too. One is for expression (volume) of the style parts and the other is to turn Harmony off & on. I don't use sustain. But it's nice to know there is a way to do it, if I wanted.
