Hi,
if you download the pdf manual (version 2.0) on the www.korgpa.com site. and read the chapter about midi (p.276)"connecting the pa1x to an external sequencer".

I have tried this connection and read's the 6 steps they write in the book.

The only connection that's works is from pc to pa1x but not in the other way.

the manual says in step 6 "play the keyboard, notes played on the keyboard go from the midi out to the pa1x tot the midi in of the computer/midi interface.

Has anyone tried this with cubase,sonar,..
Normaly this is the way it's must be if you read the manual.

regards,

notlos

Notlos,

I don't have cubase or the korg keyboard, but I do this all the time with a Kurzweil K2600 and Sonar and sometimes with a Roland G 800.

Things to look for;
You might need to set the Korg for midi-signal transfer.
Also make sure the Korg is not sending in a midi-loop.
You have to turn off midi-echo on all channels.(you do that in cubase )

I think Roel uses Cubase so he might have the answer.

Groetjes,
Fred
