So two slots in the E5000 are for either of the two on the top. Am I correct?

I know we can't get away with the two roms that have sound on them.
But is there a cheaper way to get the empty 16MB Flash Rom? Just like getting 64MB Simms from computer stores instead of buying them from a music store or EMU for double the price as they quote it.

The reason the ROM's are expensive is that they are diferent to your bog standard '64MB SIMMS' as you put it. The latter is RAM and as such emptys once the machine is turned off. The 16MB Flash ROMS's do not
