I have recently been doing some work with a friend who has an ESI4000. I have an E64 and have tried many ways to load up the files but to no avail. Is there something I am doing wrong or do I need to use some
conversion software.
Plz mail me if u can help

Hi,

You may need an upgrade to your version of EOS in order to do this. Which version of EOS are you running? Are you trying to load via SCSI (ie a hard drive or Zip) or are you trying to load via floppy? If you're trying to load via floppy, it definitely won't work.

Hi,

You want to confirm this with emu at service@emu.com

In the case of the E6400 you need V4.0 software to load ESI-4000 banks directly.

I have an ESI-32. Prior to updating the E6400 it was necessary to save banks as V2.10 on the ESI-32 before they could be read on the E6400.

If you have the option to save banks on the ESI-4000 as V2.x software banks then these may load into the E64.
