Dear Technics KN and PR users,
Thank you very much for your loyalty using Technics musical instruments.
I can assure all of you that 2002 will be the year of Technics revival...... Just wait and see....

H(o)i,

I'm not a Technics user, but a Roland VA-7 user (and I love it!!). But you made me curious.. I saw a KN2000 on television today and the only thing that attracted my attention was the sound of the piano (so far). Are you a retailer or someone from Technics or anything else? I guess Scott would also be veryyy interested .

KN4ever: I truly am a devoted loyal Technics arranger keyboard (KN5000) fan, so am curious what you know about the NEXT generation KN keyboard (KN7000/7600?).

As much as I admire the improved fantastic sounds on the KN6500, I never upgraded my KN5000 to the KN6000 or current KN6500 because the PC software which is supposed to enable you to backup the optional hard drive data (HD-SX-6) to your desktop PC STILL does NOT work . Keysoft Service (HD-SX-6 hard drive software manufacter) has been promising a fix for over a year and still no fix. STRANGE ! What a disappointment because (for me), both having the hard drive (for instant access to many customized styles/songs/sounds required for live stage work) and the ability to keep a backup of the hard drive contents is absolutely ESSENTIAL.

I've heard rumours that the next model KN keyboard may have 76 keys and even INCLUDE a hard drive too. I also heard (from someone on this board who claims to have heard from Dan Slick-Panasonic/Technics Sales) that Technics may go under the name of Panasonic in the future. Will the next generation of KN keyboard say Panasonic instead of Technics now? KN4ever, do you know anything which might substantiate any of these rumours? Also heard (rumour only) that the KN7000/KN7600?, won't be released till Fall of 2002.

KN4ever, Please share additional 'substantiated' information you may have which might support theses rumours as well as any other information you know. As Sander said, I AM very interested. Hi-ho, hi-ho, it's off to play (the KN5000) I go !

Hi KN4ever, and everybody else of course.

Well, I guess it's well known here that I'm a
huge Technics KN fan myself, and now I'm very
curious about what you might know
Any serious "leaks" about what to come?
Kind Regards
GJ

I received this message from a product sales engineer for technics musical instruments:

Thank you very much for your reply. Nice to communicate with you. I hope you
are very pleased with your KN6500. I think it is the finest keyboard
available in the market.
Please note that I am not speculating. Unfortunately I cannot tell you
anything about new Technics products since I am a product sales engineer for
Technics musical instruments (Matsu****a Inc.). So all information is highly
secret and confidential. As we have seen in the past, the competition is
watching us pretty closely (Y-brand) Since we are a little quiet in the
market. My only point is: Just watch in 2002.

Hope you will stay with us.

Best regards "

I understand he can't give more details but why did he start about this topic.

Greetings,
Alain

Hi Alain
Is the reply from the same person who started
this topic ??
The missing letters in (Matsu****a Inc.) is
"shit", and as long someone post such topic,
to tell us that " I KNOW A LOT OF THINGS, BUT
I CAN'T TELL YOU ANYTHING ", well.......................
As far as I know, it will be a lot to look
forward too for other brands users too, just
wait and see
