Is anyone here using any of the Roland SRX Expansion boards in their Roland G-70????? I'd love to hear some opinions about them if you're using them. Personally I wet myself when I listened to the demo of the "Dynamic Drums" board

The Danish forum has several posts from Dynamic Drums users, plus a lot of information about other SRX 'boards too....

Basic skinny is that they sound great, but have some non-standard note mapping (sound familiar?) so you have to edit your styles and SMFs to use them. Not too big a hassle, especially given Roland's excellent Makeup Tools editing section.

But definitely NOT 'plug and play'........
