What is the best way to connect the two ?

Here is the situation:

The Z2200 has this small 1/8" stereo male connector.

The Behringer UB1202 has the MAIN outs as two female 1/4" connectors.

Thanks,
Han

Han,

Nothing to it. First, you'll need an effects cable (also called in/out cable) which is available from most music stores. One end of the cable has a 1/4-inch stereo male plug. This splits into two 1/4-inch male mono connectors, which you will plug into the mixer output. At Radio Shack, you can pick up a 6-foot headphone extension that has a 1/4-inch stereo female jack at one end, and a 1/8-inch stero male plug at the other end.

Nothing to it!

Seeesh, the adapter and y cable costs like $10 + or 20% of the Z2200.

The Z came with the y cable with 2 pairs of rca cables but the behringer mixer main outs are 1/4" phone plugs (I assume mono).

Currently I just connect the 3mm male logitech with a adapter to a stereo 1/4" male to one of the main out (R) and the fader does not seem to be working. So, I guess I have no choice but to spend the $ to get the new adapter and y-cable !

Hmmm, If You already have a Y cord included with the system then all you need are 2 rca to 1/4" adapters. These can be bought from radio shack for a couple bucks each I think.
Not too expensive. I have a number of these and they work well for just what you are describing.

I connected the y adapter which has female rca to the tape output of the mixer using rca cables and the sound seems much improved and the left and right fader is working now.

I guess this might be another inexpensive way to connect the logitech speakers.
