Hi all,

I've just installed an IOMEGA 250MB SCSI ZIP drive to my PSR9000, the drive comes with a 25 pin cable so you need to get the 25 pin to 50 pin adapter, total price was about £130. Now I am able to connect the ZIP drive directly to my computer, copy the hundreds of midi files/ styles I have stored on my computer hard disk to the zip disk, then connect to the PSR9000 for direct access to all these files, it works like a dream, I think it's far more flexible than an internal hard drive, I have several friends with a PSR9000, now I can just take the ZIP drive to their houses and have access to all the same files, something that would be impossible to do with the internal hard drive.

Paul.

Hallo,

Yes the zipdrive is very good. I also have a zipdrive connected to my psr9000 and I have a harddisk 6,1 Gigabyte.
I have a computer also with a zipdrive.
I copy styles and midifiles with my computer on a zipdisk and then I copy the files from the zip to my harddisk.
This is a very good feature.
I also have a technics kn6000 and I am wanting to buy also a harddisk. The only harddiks that works with the kn6000 costs three times more than the harddisk I bought for my psr9000.
The kn6000 doesn't have a scsi port...this is a pitty.
Both keyboards are very good but one has better features than the other...it's like buying a car...choosing a wive....

Greetings from Belgium,
Alain
