Yeah, it's me. I bought Russ's (TresorTX)3K and it just arrived. He did such a great job taking care of it and then packing it with great care. Thanks, Russ.

Now it's up to me to reacquaint myself with the OS and download some styles and registrations.

What will happen to the G70? It is one great and fantastic keyboard. I truly love it; it is a joy to play and hear. Physically these two boards are miles apart, but sonically I'm pleased with the voices I have and the combined sounds in the 3K.

SO, the G70 is now officially NOT FOR SALE.. Changed my mind - for now.

Hey Cass,

Happy playing. Good luck on your G70, but I can't afford it - darn

I think I finally found a way to explain why I chose to switch from the TOTL G70 to the MOTL PSR3000 - with this car analogy.

Just because you love that big SUV doesn't mean you don't buy the family van.

I hope that works for you as it does for me. It's just that I have no good reason to abandon the G70 except to say it doesn't fit into my present situation. I drive a Honda Odyssey, not a Cadillac Escalade.

No, and here's the sad truth. My band has been dormant for about two years now and we've just started to to get bookings again. I did two jobs with the G70 and was looking forward to this coming Sunday to try the 3K. Now that job has been postponed until Nov.

Most of my playing anymore is in church or at home.

I am playing through a lot of styles right now and hope to set up my own registrations some day - something I never did with my 2K or G70. So I'm making progress of sorts.

At one time I played 40 weekends a yr. There is not a large market for my kind of band; everybody want you to play for $75 a guy; not for 4 hrs. with all that equipment!

I'm open to the OMB idea, especially if the band does not revive (I've put some $ into the project too). As for NHs, I'd have to try that before I could commit to it.

OMBs are not popular here, at least I haven't seen more than one or two. If I ever stay in FLA for more than a few weeks I'd take my chances down there, but metro Detroit is not a hotbed of OMBs.

But believe me, Donny, I'm pro all the way, in everything I do. My church music keeps me pretty busy too.
