I'm having a problem getting my wk3000 or my yamaha y200 to communicate with cubase sx or tracktion. I hook up midi in and out, my computer is a 2.8 gigger with 1 gig of memory and 127 gigs free hddrv space, the sound is built in realtek 97 on the motherboard...anyone know a good procedure for either to communicate???

Joe, did you go into device manager[Cubase] and select the Midiman device for input and output?

If you want to use your sound card wavetable, select it for your midi output..{Device manager]..

Yes I did, but I only had the midi in going into the computer...shows how little I know about cubase...I guess I'll have to get another midi cord for the return.
