Before I bought my WK3000 keyboard I was using a WK1300 and I would like to use some of the rhythms from the WK1300 on the WK3000. Does anyone know if the WK1300 rhythm patterns are available anywhere for downloading for use on the WK3000. Failing that can anyone suggest how transferring some of the rhythms from the WK1300 to the WK3000 might be achieved. Any help much appreciated.

If you have the Casio software (free download), from http://music.casio.com/e/data_ex2/
, you can convert a 'midi' file that you make with the wk 1300, into the wk-3x00 format. You also need to download the manual...to get the 'how to' instructions. It's not an easy task..but can be done.
Our other user forum, http://www.originalz.com/casio/casio_bbs/
has downloads, and links to hundreds of rhythms (we converted a bunch of Roland rhythms). Also, check out http://www.casio-europe.com/euro/emi/cms/wk3500/
for more downloads.

You can use the 'tone with wave' to sample an audio, and turn it into a tone. There are also some more drum kits avalible at the Casio download sites....you may find one of them to your liking. If you didn't know...there are 16 drum kits to choose from, built into the wk 3x00's. You can get to them thru the 'mixer' button, then cursor right,to channel 10. Then use the 'yes/no' buttons to change the set. Also, you can 'tweek' your drum set...using the mixer to select channel 10, then press the DSP button to turn it on for the drum set. You can then add the dsp effect to a drum set, using the effect button.

Thanks, Jim, for your prompt response. I will certainly have a go at doing what you suggest. I was also interested in your reply to the query on transferring tones to the WK3000 which also looks quite useful.
